some acting things 1975 & 1952

Back in the day....I had a very small part on the TV series called "POLICEWOMAN".  I played a Bank Manager, who's Bank had been robbed. My little scene was with my dear old friend Earl Holliman and the star of the series,  Angie Dickenson. Here is 'the scene'

"They All Wore Gasmasks", became this by-word-phrase between Earl and myself.....We still say....'they all wore gasmasks' as if it were a line from "Hamlet".....lol.....though just for a laugh.....Here is a 'still' or two from that little scene.....
It's kind of fun to see these little scenes here and there......The man that Earl is shaking hands with in the top picture is an actor named Paul Savior. I first met Paul back in 1952 when I was an apprentice at The Sea Cliff Summer Theatre and we did "Petrified Forest"....I played the Mexican maid and Paul was one of the bad guys....
That's me in the checkered blouse and  bandanna on my head and Paul is the man holding the gun.....Sometimes, the world of 'show business' is very small and spans many many years......

More To Come........

that was fun to see. I loved Earl Holliman in everything including that rodeo series he did. A definite hunk and it's neat that you still have a longstanding friendship with him and others like him. A small world but a very supportive one from the sounds of it... or at least can be.

LOVE seeing you in this short clip!!! Often, you have it in our minds as to what people sound like in the blogiverse (blog + universe), and oddly, you sounded nothing like I had thought, better in fact!!

Have a great day!

You make a very convincing bank manager. I remember that scene. I used to think Angie Dickinson was a the bee's knees and Earl Holliman is dishy.

I love Earl Holliman. Big time crush. Was always thrilled when I would see him in one of your party photos and envied your relationship.
Looking forward to "more to come".

What a treasure to have these video clips. "We all wore gas masks" makes me smile, would be nice as the name of a memoir or poem.

Dear Naomi,
no doubt you are my favourite storyteller.
-- and I have been a very absent blog-friend - for too long.
I have my reasons: My Daughters Wedding. Just posted.
-- If a celeb wedding was not this, I have not the clue - expect this was without media present. Good was that - we celebrated in private - only 105 Guests. For 4 Days.

Hope you arev well

I remember looking that up and finding that clip LOL.. just love it Naomi! And seeing your buddy Earl made me realized that it's been such a long time since I've seen him. Also, If I remember right, he was/is on the "board" for Tippi's Shambala Preserve.? Memory is fading so I could be wrong lol

Way to go, Naomi! I was beginning to think you'd lost the 2nd DVD clips as well! Too bad you only did the one episode, and that there wasn't some cutesy stuff with dogs or cats, or gorillas, elephants, anything! I'll pop an e-mail to Earl and tell him to look in case you didn't call him, or e-mail yourself!

I should have added that the rodeo series Earl was in, Wide Country, is also available on DVD now, from amazon.com and other places, I'm sure.

How wonderful to have these memories and video clips at your fingertips, my friend. What a great scene and I love that the line became a little joke between the two of you. So intimate...this inside look at your past and your craft. I hope there's more where this came from.

Hugs and much love to you, Naomi. I've been thinking about our last conversation, and I'm here whenever you're in the mood for another chat. Always a pleasure to hear your voice, amiga. ♥

Wow, look at you. I loved Policewoman. You know what I thought of immediately? How great is it that they had a female bank manager as normally you would only see male bank managers. Equal Opportunity was working in Hollywood it seems, lol.

You look great and as for Earl, what a hunk he was in this show. I am sure I was madly in love with him.

You have a beautiful voice and I love hearing you. Such a talent all round you are. Thanks for sharing that, it was wonderful to see you in action.

Avery old friend from school days still calls me "Mama" from a play we did. Certain moments stay with you, acting is so hard to explain to people who are not among actors, all the common bonds we make, lifelong friends,a certain joke we all share (depending on the 'script'), the crazy, silly, emotional things we do. It is a grand life. It makes me happy to hear/see someone as nice as you who led such a life of art. I am no kid anymore, but it gives me hope. I love watching actors in old TV shows, movies, wondering where they are now. (especially "girl #3" the small parts)
