the day after

So, Christmas is history, but the memories will linger on.....well, at least for a few days.....

My Christmas was lovely...I got to go to my dear dears, The Parks, because everyone was "well"....and it was very special and great fun, too! I took some pictures but I need to lighten up a few of them and then I will post a couple....

I love all my presents that I got, but there was one very very special one that came from a very very "special" person across the pond....and here it is...... He is one cute bear! And I love that he is part of the Guards Of Buckingham Palace. His name is "George" and he is really really special too, because he is a limited edition bear...so I am thrilled to be the proud recipient of this very dear sweet person....And he has the full approval of the 'man of the house', too....Sweetie..... I hope all of you had the most wonderful Christmas, and now, on to New Years Eve and 2007!

More To Come......

I am laughing at the pic of Sweetie checking out the new bear! My cats always have to approve of anything new around here too.

On the 23rd, I bought them a new covered litter box with a plastic swinging door to go in and out. Now, maybe they won't leave so many surprises (both solid and wet) outside the confines of the litter box! I thought I might have to teach them how to use it, but luckily they figured it out!

Re your comment: I guess I worded that wrong; the season is not really over for me until January 2-3 either, but I meant the buying and opening presents portion of the holiday. Now I just have to spend my holiday money and gift cards!! Woohoo!

Ah yes, Mr. Sweetie must have the final say on any new creatures in the house. Our cats were exceptionally well behaved this year... not too many bows were chewed, only a few ornaments knocked off and when the present opening commenced, they found places to sleep.

Too much food, not enough sleep and much to much laziness around here right now. It rained on Christmas Day and we had a tornado watch. It has been cooler, but still not really anything to be called cold.

My brother got my parents a DVD player and recorder with a VHS slot as well. So now I need to get the instructions down to record and burn some DVD's of the bowl games.... he said he wanted football games... didn't matter if it were college or professional, good or bad... he is craving good American football.

He traveled from Munich to Vienna on Christmas Eve, had Christmas Day at home and left the 26th for Dresden.

So glad you could spend some time with your friends.
