Merry Christmas, Naomi :-) :-)

And your cartoon did make me smile, although Charlie succeeded in totally wrecking our tree last night. I was up fixing it at 7.30 this morning.....It MIGHT last the holidays, but I'm not betting on it!

The good news is that you can also be taught not to discriminate against people of other races, which, fortunately, is how I was brought up. I honestly wasn't even aware that racism existed until my white aunt and her black boyfriend (now husband) were thinking about getting married. My mom tried to explain to me, age seven, why they had reservations, and I just didn't understand it, having grown up in a house where we saw everyone as equals.
